Who are you? My name is Janice Radford.
What machines do you use? I use a Kenmoore 1900 embroidery/sewing, a Tailor industrial heavy duty sewing and a Brother 4-thread lock serger.
What fabrics do you use? I mostly use calico, corduroy, linen, batik and solid cottons. I'm going to start using hemp soon too.
How are your appliques/patches made? I hand draw, cut out, heat bond, stabilize and satin stitch. These suckers won't come apart.
Do you pre-wash fabric? Yes, to prevent shrinking, bleeding and extreme fading.
Do you have pets or smoke that will affect the fabric? Noone in my house smokes but I have 3 Mastiffs and a Husky, very big dogs, so I have pet dander in my house.
Do you guarantee your work? I take great pride in what I do and I 100% guarantee my work. I do this for a living and love what I do and it shows in my work. If for any reason you are not satisfied, I'm easy to get along with and am willing to work out a deal that makes us both happy.
Do you have a shopping cart? Nooo, Let me know as soon as you want something, I try to keep on top of this but it's a first come first serve.
What payment methods do you accept? I prefer Paypal, but will accept Money Orders, and personal checks (checks take 10 days to clear before I ship out the order, please keep that in mind).
Do you combine shipping? Yes! Let me know how much you are getting and I'll combine it for you.
How much is shipping? For U.S. residents: clothing - $7.00 - 12.00 (depending on the weight of the piece), jewelry & accessories - $5.00. Delivery confirmation is included for U. S. residents. Insurance is optional and is an extra $1.20.
Will you ship Internationally? Yes, please let me know which country and I will calculate shipping charges. U.S. shipping does not apply to International buyers.
How do you ship? I ship USPS Priority or Express. National or International. Express will be a high price than the Priority rates that I quoted above.
What if I need to return or exchange an item? If you are not satisfied I will accept a return or exchange. Returns must be mailed back within 3 days of receiving the item and you must email me first to set up the return or I will not accept it back. The item must be in the same condition it was mail out in, not be worn except to try it on and tag still attached, if one provided. Once I receive the item back I will refund your money back to you, please remember I make a living off of this and expect the same respect I give to you. I will exchange an item for any other item on this website and refund any over charge if needed, this needs to be done within 10 days and only if the item you received does not fit properly or does not fit the description given.
It's been 2 weeks and I still haven't gotten my order. I ship out orders once they are paid for. We can both track the order through USPS, which is why I always ship with confirmation. Sometimes snail mail lives up to it's name, if for any reason it gets lost we will work out either a duplicate item or refund.

Is my personal information safe? I will NEVER give out or sell any personal/private info, email address' or general info to anyone for any reason. I need to keep hard copies of each transaction for 6 months, after that they are shredded and destroyed.
I want you to custom make an item for me, what do I need to do? I love custom making pieces, all you need to do is email me with your measurements, ideas, color scheme and fabric choice. I will respond with the estimated time and the price. I will give you progress reports and when completed I will email you pictures of the finished piece.
How do I take measurements? Using a flexible measuring tape, start with your length, from where you want the straps to start on your bust to the hem OR from your shoulders to the hem if for a hoodie or shirt. The bust needs to be measured the whole way around as well as your bra size (I.E. - your bra size is a 38D...your true measurement will probably be 44"). You waist under the bust as well as you belly button, it depends on how far down you want the bodice to go OR for skirts, where you want it to sit(on your hips or waist). The hips. How much spin do you want too.
Do you have any sales or discounted items? If you are tight on cash but want some goodies like the ones on this website, please go to Ebay or Etsy. I have sold over 300 pieces so far.. My prices are very reasonable to start and you can check out my feedback to know that what you are getting is worth the price. I'm under the user name woodidawgs for Ebay and phunkypatches for Etsy.
Why is there writing on the pictures? I watermark my pictures so it makes it harder for others (bad people) to use my pictures and call it their work.
